Sayreville Middle School raised $451 in its recent Helping Hands for Haiti campaign. Students, teachers, and staff paid 1 dollar to trace their hands and write a message of support and encouragement to the Haitian people. Student volunteers took payments, cut out "hands", and taped the "hands" to the walls. The donations will be given to the Red Cross. Komen For the Cure Foundation, and everyone wore pink to show their support.
